New parents are welcome to come observe one of my classes!  Contact Ms. Emily to schedule a visit located in South Fort Collins, Colorado. (Cross streets:  College Ave & Fossil Creek Blvd)

Sound Beginnings
Age of Child:  2 - 4 years
Class Time:  Tuesdays or Wednesdays morning - Check website for times.
       (parent comes every week)
Tuition:  $160 /semester of 15 lessons ($40 /month)
       One sibling may also attend with a discounted tuition:
       Sibling age 2-4: $80 /semester OR sibling age 0-1: $40 /semester
Registration Fee:  $10 per family
Materials Fee:  $33 for semester (includes Music Notebook, CD, small instrument)


First Year of Piano Course (Let's Play Music)
Age of Child:  4 1/2 - 5 1/2 years old  (Pre-K* or Kindergarten students)
Check website for class times. (parent comes twice a month)
Tuition Amount:  $220 /semester of 15 lessons ($55 /month)
Registration Fee:  $25 (includes T-shirt)
Materials Fee:  $88 for entire year (includes set of Tone Bells, two Home Study Notebooks, Tote Bag and two Home Study CDs)

* Pre-K students should be 4 years old by May to begin that same year.  (If your child is younger, contact me to get your child's name on my Waiting List for the next year.)

Studio Policies for Ms. Emily
Establishing clear expectations ensure our relationship will be a successful one!

Studio Standards
  1. Parents may drop off children no earlier than 5 minutes before class and may come in when the Sign is up. (I work hard to start & end on time.) Please be ready to pick up your child when class is over. Be safe and watch for other children during drop-off and pick-up.
  2. No gum, candy, or food allowed in class. Please give your child water to drink before & after class.
  3. Siblings and friends may not attend class. Please arrange babysitting for parent days.
  4. Parents agree to read the parent materials & emails, attend class (Year 1: every other week, Year 2-3: once a month), and assist your children in practicing at home in an effort to maximize the benefits of the program.
  5. Parents work with the teacher to elicit appropriate classroom behaviors, as discussed in Orientation.
  6. Let's Play Music is a 3-year progressive music curriculum. To achieve the full benefits of the program, it is anticipated that your child will continue in my studio for all 3-years. 
Financial Considerations
  1. Tuition may be paid by year, semester, or 8 installments (with post dated checks). See the Class Calendar for amounts and dates.
  2. If tuition isn't paid on or before the due date, there is a $5 late fee to your payment.
  3. You have purchased a spot in the class and will not be refunded if your child misses class. If you drop out mid-year or before completing the 3-year LPM program, there is a $80 Drop Fee.
  4. If you decide not to participate, the Registration Fee & Materials Fee are non-refundable (and materials will not be given to former students).
  5. I work hard to maintain a safe teaching environment and have never had a problem with accidents. However, the Let's Play Music & Sound Beginning programs  do involve physical movement. By registering in the program, you, the parent or legal guardian, accept full financial liability for any accidents or injury that could possibly happen to your child, yourself or any guest accompanying you, while in my home and property, and release Emily Baldwin and all their heirs and connections from all liability.
